I need to speak with a manager

I was calling from the UK as I had an urgent situation to speak my family in Jamaica on the 11th of June 2025. My phone was made inactive after only just over two weeks of making the last call on the 23rd of May 2025.

I was surprised at this as I have had the same number for over 5 years and my number never been made inactive in that time. In the past this would at least be a full month. However my phone was in credit and in excess J$1400 dollars. I was told I need to top up.

Unfortunately at the time I had no access to funds to do so.

My Mother had taken ill and rushed to hospital on emergency, I spoke to the supervisor who said her name was Shericka, explaining that I have an urgent situation and begged her to activate my phone using my existing credit as this is mitigating circumstances. I told her I fully understand that this is not protocol, but can she use digression on this occasion. She told me point blank that she could manually override the system but she is not going to do that. That is not good customer care, I was horrified as a Digicel customer for over 20 years and had also worked it telecommunications for several years to be dismissed.

This could have been a life and death situation, as my mother could have died. I had to borrow money to top up my phone to be able to speak with my siblings regarding my mother. The hospital needed to know what medication she was on and other time sensitive information which my sibling would have known at the time. This is ridiculous treatment to a loyal customer.

Hence me needing to speak to a manager to address this situation. There must be a different criteria from the norm, if the the customer has urgent mitigating circumstances and has credit to make a call. she persisted to tell that I had to top up. I requested to speak to a manager and gave her my UK and Local Digicel number for a manager to call me.

I was told that I would get a a call back 24-72 hours.

It has been over two weeks and I have heard nothing. This is really poor customer service, hence I still need to speak to a manager.

30 Day Plan not Working.

Digicel Group - 30 Day Plan not Working.

I recently topped up a relative with a 30-Day Diaspora Yard Plan, however the plan is not working and no megabytes are on the account of the related top up. Kindly assist in troubleshooting this issue or providing further clarity.

Terrible customer service

I paid the Digicel internet bill in Grenada for the month of May 2025 and the transfer fee for a transfer scheduled for May 31st, 2025 (to another location in Grenada). The head office initially said they will disconnect the Internet at my current location as soon as they activate it at the new location on Saturday 31st May, 2025.

This was confirmed during a phonecall on Thursday 22nd May, 2025 when I passed on the contact information for the landlady at the new location. However, Digicel's functionally retarded staff in Grenada disconnected the Internet at my current location on the morning of Friday 23rd May, 2025 (without even beginning the Internet installation process at the new location). They insisted that this was necessary for doing the transfer.

When I decided to no longer do business with them, and request a refund of the transfer fee and the remainder of the payment for the month of May (since the Internet was disconnected on the morning of May 23rd) they claimed it takes 10-15 days to 'process' the refund. Very ridiculous!

Need some information about my phone number

I cant give a review because the information I got cannot help me because I have that number for a very long time now I didnt even know my phone number could be expired thats just crazy if I dont top up for 3 to 4 months my number is not in the system and I cant get it back that information just dont make any sense to me at all

I could not access the payment site to pay the bill
